Jennifer Twiner McCarron has been promoted to chief executive officer of Thunderbird Entertainment, effective immediately.

In her new role, Twiner McCarron will oversee the entertainment company. She will also stay on as chief executive officer of Atom Cartoons, a Thunderbird subsidiary.

“Thunderbird has never been in greater shape and demand for content is growing exponentially,” says Ivan Fecan, executive chair, Thunderbird. “Jenn is an enormously talented leader and the right person to build on this opportunity. Her reputation for integrity, for creating an environment where quality work flourishes has been behind much of the amazing success of Atomic.”

Most recently, McCarron served as the president of Atomic, flowing its acquisition by Thunderbird. She joined Atomic in 2011 as head of production, where she oversaw all in-house production and helped to grow the company’s artist portfolio.
