
Kilpin will be responsible for advancing Mattel's international presence and for leading the company's growth in emerging markets throughout Asia, Europe and Latin America.
Kilpin has held a variety of leadership roles with Mattel over the years. Most recently, he served as executive vice president of the Global Brands Team–Boys & Girls, a role to which he was appointed in 2011. Prior to that, he served as general manager and senior vice president of Mattel Brands and has held various other roles since joining the company in 2003.
Before joining Mattel, Kilpin served as executive vice president of studio franchise management at The Walt Disney Company, but he began his career with Mattel in 1984 in marketing.
