MasterCard has added a chief experience officer to its staff, according to Adweek.
Donald Chestnut will oversee the “best consumer payment experience while providing merchants, issuers and other partners a more holistic way to work with Mastercard’s products and services,” as detailed in a company statement.
Most recently, Chestnut served as the global chief experience officer at SapientRazorfish. Other roles include SapientRazorfish’s chief creative officer and leader if the ships experience design practice as well as positions at Siegel + Gale and American Express.
Chestnut will fill the role beginning Jan. 14.
