ITV Studios Global Entertainment has appointed Anna Viola as senior licensing manager of hard lines.

Viola will manage and develop hard line categories along with housewares and toiletries, gifts and novelties for ITVS GE’s growing portfolio in the U.K. market, which includes both wholly owned properties like Thunderbirds Are Go! and third-party properties such as Playmobil and Cut the Rope.

Viola previously worked as senior advertising sales manager at Global Radio.

“This appointment of a highly talented and successful sales manager further strengthens our sales team in an exciting and busy period for ITVS GE,” says Trudi Hayward, senior vice president and head of global merchandising, ITVS GE, to whom Viola will report. “Not only are new brands coming on board, but the international launch of ‘Thunderbirds Are Go!’ is planned for the Vegas Licensing Expo in June. Anna is most definitely the right person at a key time for us.”
