David Berry, a former Diageo and Walt Disney executive, has launched Interim Licensing Management in the U.K.

"As organizations within the licensing industry adapt to an increasingly unpredictable external environment, change often leads to reorganization with the obligatory head count, timing and budgeting constraints," says Berry. "Interim Licensing Management is a new service which provides a timely, cost-effective and results-oriented alternative to permanent resourcing solutions. As the economy begins its slow recovery, Interim Licensing Management will assist businesses in our industry deal with change and exploit growth potential."

Berry was previously European licensing director at Diageo, where he expanded the Guinness brand into food categories (i.e. Guinness Marmite), as well as managing its 250th anniversary campaign with partners Canterbury of New Zealand, EMI Music and Hamlyn. Prior to that, at Disney, he held local and pan-European licensing management roles.
