Entertainment Studios Networks recently appointed Janice Arouh to president of domestic distribution and marketing. She is the former executive vice president of affiliate sales and marketing for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel.

Aroud assumes her new role at Entertainment Studios on May 10, where she will be responsible for domestic distribution and marketing of the company's six 24-hour HD TV networks—Pets.TV, Comedy.TV. Recipe.TV, Cars.TV, ES.TV, and MyDestination.TV.

"Janice brings energy and passion for the business to Entertainment Studios Networks," says Byron Allen, chairman and chief executive officer of Entertainment Studio. "Her leadership, management depth and extensive trusting relationships with the distributor community will be major assets as we embark on expanding the presence of our HD networks and create additional opportunities for growth, including launching compelling 3-D networks."

Besides Hallmark, Arouh has worked at Fox Cable Networks, which includes Fox Sports, FX, Fox Movie Channel, Fox Soccer Channel, Speed and National Geographic Channel.
