Guru Expands Senior Leadership Team

Piersimoni joins the company as vice president of production. In her new role, Piersimoni will be responsible for managing all of Guru’s production-related activities. She joins Guru from Sparkhouse Studios, where she served as senior director of production. Prior to that she was an executive producer for Warner Animation Group. Piersimoni has also held a number of positions at Walt Disney Featuree Animation, Digital Domain and DisneyToon Studios.

Rattner has signed on as the company’s senior director or marketing and branding. In this role, he’ll oversee Guru’s corporate marketing and communications strategy and lead promotional efforts in the animated and interactive IP space.

Guru Studio is an entertainment company known for creating, developing and producing internationally acclaimed programming including its preschool Netflix Original, “True and The Rainbow Kingdom” and “Paw Patrol,” produced in collaboration with Nick. Jr. Other projects include Mattel’s “Ever After High” and “Justin Time.”
