Mintz has been promoted to senior vice president of worldwide consumer products. In his new role, he will expand his current areas of oversight, taking on direct responsibility for increasing global awareness for the company’s roster of brands. He will also spearhead the development and implementation of worldwide licensing and merchandising for Genius Brands’ signature properties.

Mintz joined Genius Brands in 2014 as the company’s vice president of consumer products. Previously, he had managed his own consulting business and held a number of licensing positions with Hasbro and Disney Consumer Products.

Pierson has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, global content distribution and marketing. In her new role, she will be responsible for oversight of Genius Brand’s global content distribution business for properties including “SpacePOP,” “Llama Llama” and “Rainbow

Rangers,” among others.

She will also identify potential co-production partners and advise on the development of new and acquired properties for international and domestic distribution. In addition, she will work to drive the expansion of the Kid Genius Cartoon Channel both domestically and internationally.
