In his new role, Shapiro will work to build retail partnerships and programs for each of the company’s brands. He will report directly to Lloyd Mintz, senior vice president of Global Consumer Products, Genius Brands.

Shapiro joins Genius Brands having previously worked at Warner Bros. Entertainment, where he served for over six years as a Director of Sales. Prior to that he worked for The Walt Disney
