Mark Shoeman will oversee titles including “Rainbow Rangers,” “Baby Genius” and more.

NORTH AMERICA–Global content and brand management company Genius Brands International has tapped Mark Shoeman to serve as its new director of distribution.

In his new role, Shoeman will oversee the sales of the company’s programming library including the new animated series “Rainbow Rangers,” “Llama Llama” and the toddler brand “Baby Genius.” Additional responsibilities will include identifying content for acquisition on behalf of the company’s digital platforms, Kid Genius Cartoon Channel and Baby Genius Channel.

Most recently, Shoeman served as the U.S. territory manager for DHX Media. Previous roles include sales manager for the U.S. and Asia Pacific for Cookie Jar Entertainment
