Tim Stephen will take on a range of responsibilities spanning the company’s TV, animation and distribution divisions.

NORTH AMERICA–Tim Stephen has been promoted to serve as Gaumont’s head of U.S. business and legal affairs.

Stephen joined Gaumont in 2014 as senior vice president of U.S. business and legal affairs. During his tenure, he worked across multiple projects including “Narcos,” “F is For Family,” “Hannibal,” “Hemlock Grove,” “High in the Clouds,” “Do, Re & Mi” and “The Star Shards Chronicles.”

His new position will include a broad range of responsibilities spanning the television, animation and distribution divisions of the company.

Prior to Gaumont, Stephen spent six years as executive vice president of business and legal affairs at Generate, where he helped build the company from a start-up. He also held business and legal affairs positions at Cartoon Network and Lionsgate. In a producing capacity, he served as president of Adam Productions.
