Gaumont has named several new executives–Cecilia Rossignol, Cherie Johnson, Robby Amar and Rebekah Zarbarsky–to serve on its global distribution team.

First, Rossingol has been appointed to serve as the company’s vice president of international TV sales, drama, and will be responsible for selling and pre-selling Gaumont’s U.S. and French television programming within the EMEA territories. She will also be responsible for solidifying European co-productions.

Rossingol joins Gaumont from FranceTV Distribution, where she oversaw TV sales for France Télévision’s catalog to North America and several European territories.

Meanwhile, Johnson has joined the company as vice president of marketing. In her new role, she is responsible for developing strategic marketing initiatives for international TV sales. Previously, she served as the west coast managing director for outdoor media planning and buying agency Kinetic.

Amar has taken on the position of vice president of TV acquisitions and distribution, with a focus on acquiring new TV series from third party producers for worldwide distribution. Most recently, he served as executive director of international sales for MarVista Entertainment, where he oversaw sales for numerous territories.

Finally, Zarbarsky has joined Gaumont as manager of marketing and will report to Johnson. She joins the company from talent management agency The Digital Brand Architects.
