FremantleMedia North America has promoted David Luner to the newly created position of executive vice president, brand partnerships and franchise management.

Luner will now oversee all of FMNA’s ancillary businesses including digital, integrated marketing and brand partnerships, licensing, live events and various elements of business development.

“In addition to developing and delivering quality programming, FMNA is focused on building long-term brands and brand partnerships. David has a proven track-record of consistently delivering innovative, ground-breaking and successful branded opportunities with our core entertainment franchises,” says Thom Beers, chief executive officer, FMNA, to whom Luner now reports.

Over the past decade, Luner has held a number of positions within FremantleMedia, including his most recent role as executive vice president, digital and licensing for the former FremantleMedia Enterprises Group, where he spearheaded some of the most successful and longest running partnerships for core franchises like American Idol, America’s Got Talent, The X Factor, Price Is Right, Family Feud and Let’s Make A Deal.

"FremantleMedia has always been committed to aggressively and organically extending our brands through strategic partnerships, technical innovation, and creative integrations,” says Luner. “The opportunity to work directly for Thom Beers as part of the FMNA development and production team will further prioritize the brand building process and align our creative and ancillary business objectives at the highest level.”
