Independent producer Nevision has brought in two new industry executives– former Zodiak U.K. Kids & Family CEO Nigel Pickard and former BBC and ITV producer Sharon Bloom.

Pickard has joined Nevision Board following his most recent stint as chief executive officer of U.K. Kids and Family and chief executive officer of Zodiak Middle East, Asia and Australasia, following Zodiak’s acquisition of RDF Media. Prior to that, Nigel held senior broadcasting at ITV and BBC.

Sharon Bloom has worked as both a producer and executive producer for BBC and ITV, producing award-winning dramas including "Peak Practice," "Sweet Medicine," "Anybody’s Nightmare," "Murder in Suburbia" and "Margery and Gladys." In her new role at Nevision, Bloom will be developing a significant slate of drama projects for the global market.

“With their experience and flair, Nigel and Sharon are a invaluable addition to the group," says James Cabourne, chief executive officer, Nevision. "Having worked first-hand with Nigel on our

co-produced children’s series 'Floogals' with Zodiak, we know he is the right fit for our hand-picked creative team. He is highly respected both in the U.K. and internationally and is perfectly positioned to help with the next phase of Nevision’s evolution. I am also delighted that a producer of Sharon’s quality and impressive track record has agreed to join us to play a key role in growing Nevision’s drama slate and getting our projects to the screen.”
