Guru Studio has appointed Rachel Marcus as development executive, responsible for developing content, sourcing new IP and overseeing strategic positioning for the studio. Guru Studio is the creator of such children series as "Paw Patrol" and "Justin Time."

Marcus will work closely with the studio’s creative resources on both domestic and international content when she begins her new role on March 27.

She joins Guru Studio from Nickelodeon, where she developed new digital games and short-form linear content that drove interactive web experiences for Nick.com and Nick Jr.

“Rachel gets it. Her traditional and digital development experience is a real strength in the evolving entertainment landscape," says Frank Falcone, president and creative director, Guru Studio. "We’re looking forward to creating exciting, new, original properties together, and strategically expanding Guru’s IP.”
