Endemol North America, producer of shows such as “Big Brother,” “Deal or No Deal,” “Fear Factor” and “Wipeout,” has hired two new franchise managers to expand its brands in the region.

Tami Thosath and Danielle Nicholson join Endemol to enhance Endemol’s television brand profiles through new licensed products and experiences.

In their new roles, Thosath and Nicholson will drive the licensing business for Endemol North America’s unscripted, scripted and syndicated series.  They will oversee category management, brand and franchise management, licensee relationships, and they will work with respective broadcast partners to deliver branded consumer products and initiatives to market.

“The expansion of our franchise team reinforces Endemol’s commitment to developing brand extensions on behalf of Endemol properties, ranging from retail programs to live entertainment,” says Kimilyn Whitaker, global head of franchise management, Endemol, to whom both will report. “The new products and initiatives will continue to give fans new ways to engage with some of the most popular shows on television.”

Prior to joining Endemol, Thosath served as franchise manager of consumer products and merchandising at MGA Entertainment, managing brands including Bratz, Lalaloopsy and Little Tikes.

Nicholson joins Endemol after serving as an event marketing and business development executive in the video game industry, where she held positions at RSA Films and Xsolla.
