Egmont Magazines has announced that Laura Adnitt, publishing director based in the U.K., will be the main contact for acquiring new IP for the Egmont group.

Together with global brand manager Bastian Mai, based in Germany, and Andrea Ryder, based in Copenhagen, Adnit will be working in a global Egmont network of publishers covering more than 20 international markets and securing IP for all of Egmont. Laura will be attending local licensor and global licensing industry events in order to secure new partnerships and to cement Egmont’s position as a leading kids’ magazine publisher. 

In the U.K., Egmont Magazines currently has strong partnerships with licensors like Disney, Mattel, Hasbro and Nickelodeon, publishing magazines for brands such as Disney Princess, Thomas & Friends, My Little Pony and “PAW Patrol,” among many others. The Egmont Group, which operates in the Nordics and in several other European regions, is behind weekly and monthly magazine titles and digital subscription services, as well as companies within e-commerce and marketing services.
