DHX Brands has announced the appointment of four new team members to its London office.

New hires will bolster the brand management company’s consumer presence globally.

DHX Brands has announced the appointment of four new team members to its London office.

First, Debbie Walker has been named to the role of brand manager. In her new role, she will lead brand and marketing initiatives in the U.K. for DHX children’s series “Twirlywoos” and “In the Night Garden.” Prior to joining DHX, Walker held a number of roles across Mattel, FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment and Trinity Films.

Cheryl Brock joins the team as design manager of the creative services team. In her new position, Brock will help maintain DHX Brands’ portfolio and launch new titles. Prior to her new role, she worked for Disney where she was responsible for graphic and product design for some of the largest European direct-to-retail accounts.

Alessia Foster has been appointed to the role of head of product development. Foster comes to DHX with international experience in leading the development of products through licensing and live events and attractions programs. Prior to joining DHX, she worked on global brands including “Thomas & Friends,” “Fireman Sam,” “Bob the Builder” and Barbie for Mattel.

Finally, Holly Taylor has taken on the role of product development manager. In her new position, Taylor will focus on apparel and soft lines development for the newly established DHX Brands product development team. Prior to her current role, Taylor worked at Disney on their apparel development for all major U.K. retailers.

“These appointments, in newly created roles, underscore our commitment to growing the consumer presence of our brands globally and highlight the increasing strength of DHX Brands in the marketplace,” says Peter Byrne, executive vice president, DHX Brands. “Debbie, Cheryl, Alessia and Holly join an existing talented and experienced team and we are delighted to add their respective skills and expertise to our business.”
