The U.K.-based comics publisher DC Thomson has appointed Amy Jarashow as its licensing director for North America.

The U.K.-based comics publisher DC Thomson has appointed Amy Jarashow as its licensing director for North America.

In her new role, Jarashow will be responsible for leading client liaison and product and business development with both Parragon and Wild and Wolf’s existing partners in North America including Disney, Discovery Kids, Mattel, Nickelodeon, Scrabble and more.

She will also be responsible for identifying and managing new licensing acquisitions in North America.

Prior to joining DC Thomson, Jarashow worked with IQ License and led a business development team responsible for more than 40 licensed brands. She has also worked as an associate publisher for Random House Young Reader’s Group and oversaw its licensing publishing program.
