Cloudco Entertainment has expanded its licensing executive team with the promotion of Roubina Tchoboian, vice president, international licensing, and the hiring of Dara Weiss, director of digital, publishing and brand experiences.

The changes come as the company prepares to manage consumer products launches or relaunches of several brands in 2020. Cloudco currently has various television series in production including the all-new “2D Care Bears: Unlock the Magic,” “Tinpo,” “Holly Hobbie” and “Boy, Girl, Dog, Cat, Mouse, Cheese.”

Weiss joins Cloudco after stints at Viacom/Nickelodeon in licensing, retail marketing and brand marketing as well as positions in product and retail development for Papyrus, Schurman Retail and American Greetings. Weiss will report to Robert Prinzo, head, global licensing division, Cloudco.

Tchoboian began her tenure with Cloudco four years ago, joining the company after working several years in the kids’ content sales side of Zodiak Media. During her time at Cloudco, Tchoboian has brought new international partnerships and agents into Cloudco’s orbit. Tchoboian also reports to Robert Prinzo.

“Great brands deserve a great team, and a great team deserves to work on great brands” says Prinzo. “I love our brands and where we’re taking them, and thanks to the talent, effort, focus and camaraderie of Roubina and Dara, I know that all of us–colleagues and brands alike–are experiencing and generating the greatness necessary to win.”
