Gifting company Carte Blanche Group has appointed Sarah Quigley as head of U.K. licensing.

Quigley returns to the company after a two-year stint as senior category manager at Hasbro. Her new remit at Carte Blanche will be to further develop the long-term licensing strategies for the company’s Me to You, Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends and Tiny Tatty Teddy brands.

Licensing is a continued area of focus for Carte Blanche, which has seen gains in recent years, particularly in the apparel category where the Blue Nose brands consistently track within the top three characters.

Quigley will work to grow the brands’ ranking within this area and will also focus on the growth of Carte Blanche’s presence in new categories.

“Carte Blanche is unique in having an in-house creative hub, including artists and designers as well as licensing and marketing experts,” says Quigley. “I look forward to leveraging the skill set I have garnered in the past two years on cross-category initiatives, and focus on supporting the needs of our retailers as well as developing our long-term licensing strategy.”
