Carrera of America, a manufacturer of slot cares and R/C vehicles, has appointed Rick Greenberg to serve as the company’s president.
Previously, Greenberg was the president and chief executive officer of Shelcore Toys, where he oversaw toy manufacturing and negotiated long-term licensing agreements with Universal, Disney, Nickelodeon, DHX Media, WWE and more, before selling the company 2006. Most recently, he served as a principal and business development advisor for Radiate (R88), a sales and marketing agency.
“Over his career, Rick has introduced and lead several European toy companies to the U.S. market,” says Roger Balser, managing director, Carrera. “We are looking forward to Rick leading Carrera’s expansion to meet the many robust opportunities in this unique area of the toy and hobby industry.”
