Brookstone Forms Wholesale and Licensing Division

Specialty retailer Brookstone has launched a wholesale and licensing division, headed by Rudy Woodward as executive vice president of product development, wholesale and licensing, and Douglas Colley as operational vice president.Woodward joined Brookstone

Woodward joined Brookstone in 1993 and most recently served as vice president and general merchandise manager. He has also worked at Jordan Marsh/Abraham & Strauss and Miller and Rhoads.

Colley is new to Brookstone having previously served in a number of leadership positions at Nautica, a division of VF Corp., including vice president of global home licensing and vice president of retail development.

"The new Brookstone wholesale and licensing division will be developing relationships with the biggest and most exciting retailers and manufacturers worldwide," says Ron Boire, Brookstone's president and chief executive officer. "We see this as a tremendous opportunity to extend the reach of the Brookstone brand."

Brookstone operates 310 stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico,

as well as a catalog and an e-commerce website.
