Christine Calip Victor will focus on Bravado’s external business development strategy and drive new brand relationships, among other responsibilities.

NORTH AMERICA–Bravado, Universal Music Group’s merchandise and brand management company, has tapped Christine Calip Victor to take on the position of senior vice president of business development, business and legal affairs.

In her new role, Calip Victor will focus on external business development and strategy as well as driving new brand and artist relationships. She will also provide legal support to the company’s expanding global roster and will work with artist teams, retail partners and Universal’s brands and labels.

Most recently, Calip Victor was the senior vice president of business and legal affairs for Universal Music Group’s East Coast labels, with a focus on Republic Records. During her tenure, she was involved in business affairs, transactions and strategy.

Prior to joining Universal Music Group, she was an associate at Sedlmayr & Associates, where she provided a full range of entertainment-related legal representation for the firm’s clients, including sponsorships, endorsements, merchandise agreements, publishing agreements and more.
