Toys 'R' Us has named Reg McLay as senior vice president of its Babies 'R' Us business, effective March 30.

In his new role, McLay will lead the Babies 'R' Us merchandising team in the U.S. in driving product innovation, as well as differentiation in services and offerings across its stores nationwide.

McLay has more than 30 years of retail merchandising and operations experience and joins Toys 'R' Us after two years at the Canadian Tire Corporation, where he most recently served as senior vice president of merchandise sourcing and innovation.
