AT&T has signed agency IMC as it looks for opportunities to enter the growing the mobile health (mHealth) market.

IMC will represent AT&T in exploring strategic licensing relationships to create innovative new products to collect, deliver and monitor health information via mobile technology.

“AT&T continuously keeps its finger on the pulse of the future and is known for its curious and innovative spirit,” says Kim Steadman, senior director, partnership development, IMC. “As the largest communications company in the world with incredible brand awareness and trust, we believe there is a huge opportunity and great fit for AT&T in the mHealth market.”    

The company plans to look for opportunities consumer-facing products, as well as tools designed for clinical professionals.
