The Alpha Group has appointed Antoine Erligmann to serve as its vice president of media, television and licensing in the EMEA region.

The Alpha Group has appointed Antoine Erligmann to serve as its vice president of media, television and licensing in the EMEA region.

In his new role, Erligmann will aim to establish the company’s media strategy, negotiate and direct the distribution of TV series across European markets and develop licensing programs for such programs as “Super Wings” and “Infinity Nado” for the EMEA region. He will also be responsible for a number of other brands that are set to arrive in early 2018 as well as participate in the development of co-productions and digital strategy.

Prior to joining The Alpha Group, Erligmann most recently held the position of head of EMEA at Nelvana, where he participated in the development of TV distribution in Europe and managed brands like “Beyblade,” “Zhu Zhu Pets,” “Babar,” “Bakugan” and “Franklin.” He has also held a variety of positions with Warner Bros., Smoby–Majorette, Simba Group, Carrefour and Paridoc-Auchan.
