Toon Goggles has appointed Al Kahn to serve as chairman of its board.

Kahn is the founder of 4Kids Entertainment and served as the company’s chairman and chief executive officer for almost 25 years before stepping down in 2011. He is also the co-founder of CraneKahn, an international children’s entertainment and licensing company that focuses on products and experiences in the new economy, which was launched earlier this year. In June 2005, he was inducted into the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association Hall of Fame.

“Kahn will be spearheading our expansion in entertainment content, branding, marketing and major global partnerships,” says Stephen L. Hodge, chief executive officer, Toon Goggles. “We are thrilled to have an executive with his accomplishments join forces with us.”
