Lynsey Birnbaum was appointed to director of licensing for A&E Television Networks, where she will oversee all non-home entertainment consumer products licensing and new product development activities worldwide for A&E Network, History and Lifetime.
Birnbaum will also develop new business concepts, handle new product opportunities via sub-licensing, joint venture and start-up implementation and management, as well as seek out integrated licensing-based initiatives between partners and various AETN business units.
Before joining AETN, Birnbaum served as licensing manager at United Media. She has also worked as business development manager at The Kellen Company, licensing coordinator at The Beanstalk Group and promotions and marketing assistant at Cartoon Network.
AETN is a joint venture of Disney/ABC Television Group, Hearst Corporation and NBC Universal.
