A+E Appoints Marketing Officer

A+E Networks has promoted Amanda Hill to the position of chief marketing officer.

In her new role, Hill will be responsible for managing and evolving marketing in support of the networks’ portfolio of brands, including brand strategy, consumer and B2B marketing as well as creative execution in the U.S. and abroad.

Prior to her appointment, Hill oversaw A+E Networks’ international marketing, communications and programming teams as chief creative officer for that division. Before joining the network, she served as chief brands officer for BBC Worldwide. During her tenure, she was responsible for developing he overarching brand strategy for all of BBC Worldwide’s businesses and formats, as well as oversaw and developed the factual entertainment brand, BBC Earth.
