EUROPE–Acamar Films is growing their team in the U.K. with new hires: Sandra Vauthier-Cellier as chief commercial officer, Eroulla Constantine as head of sales, and Ben Taylor as sales coordinator.
These appointments reflect the continued success of its children’s TV show “Bing” and its global growth across broadcast, digital and consumer products and will see all distribution activity for “Bing” to be handled by the new team. The television rights to “Bing” will transition back to Acamar from Aardman later this year at the end of a successful and productive partnership.
Vauthier-Cellier joins Acamar after holding senior positions at Twentieth Century Fox and 4Kids Entertainment, and both Constantine and Taylor join from DreamWorks Animation.
“We are incredibly proud of the continued success of ‘Bing’ to date—we want to thank our friends at Aardman who have done an incredible job securing key deals around the globe,” says Mikael Shields, chief executive officer, Acamar Films. “Our aim was always to bring ‘Bing’ back in-house once he had found his feet internationally and I am excited that senior executives of the calibre of Sandra and Eroulla are joining us as we drive forward with the next phase of expansion. We welcome Ben to our thriving and ever-growing team which works tirelessly on making ‘Bing’ a success across TV and licensing and merchandising.”
