Authentic Brands Group has promoted John Erlandson to the position of chief revenue officer, a newly formed position within the company.

As CRO, Erlandson will lead ABG’s revenue growth strategy to align and drive all new licensing revenue generation on a global basis. The sports and fashion pillar business development and business affairs teams will also report to him.

Meanwhile, ABG has also tapped Adam Geisler to serve as its new group executive vice president of sports.

In his new role, Geisler, formerly the chief merchandising officer at Mission Athletecare, will lead the global expansion of the company’s sports pillar while working with key partners and internal teams to drive brand growth around the world. The ABG sports pillar includes Spyder, Tapout, Prince, Airwalk, Airwalk Classics, Vision Street Wear and Hind.

Additionally, ABG has promoted Matthew Nordby to serve as president of international business development and gaming. In his new role, Nordby will lead and drive ABG’s new international partnership strategy.
