XTracks presents “The Future of Licensing” Executive Summit, coming to Los Angeles on Thursday, Sept. 12. This premier event will unite senior industry leaders, futurists and consumer product experts. The curated content will explore the transformative power of AI, emerging consumer habits, e-commerce technologies and other rapidly evolving topics impacting the licensing industry today.
Founded by Steven Ekstract, licensing media/event developer, and presented in collaboration with United Talent Agency (UTA), Genna Rosenberg and GennComm LLC., XTracks’ full-day Executive Licensing Summit will coincide with the LA Fall Toy Previews. The event will be hosted at UTA’s Beverly Hills headquarters.
The summit will commence with research from UTA IQ, titled, “AI Takes Center Stage – The
Real-Time Impact of AI on Creative Media and Marketing.” Panels will explore the significant impact of AI on the licensing business, providing attendees with practical tools to enhance their AI strategies, integrate AI into their workflows and navigate legal implications. Additional panels will cover hot topics related to sports, food and entertainment licensing, retail advancements, experiential brand connections, influencers, YouTube, TikTok shops and other e-commerce technologies, along with pressing issues in the toy industry.
Attendees will benefit from Unleashing the Power of AI Keynote and Workshop by TrendHunter’s Futurist, Mark Onufer, and other insights from Business Insider’s CMO-to-Watch, Robin Zucker, who will discuss the best AI tools for trend-tracking, storytelling, product development and social listening. David Schnider, partner and licensing attorney, Nolan Heimann, will lead a discussion on legal risks associated with AI-generated content, ownership concerns and privacy issues.
Other distinguished speakers include Daniel Siegel, sports agent, The Brandr Group, presenting a Masterclass on Name, Image and Likeness and case studies on aligning with athletes as micro-influencers to create significant business opportunities in sports licensing. The summit will also delve into retail innovations such as TikTok Shops, the Roblox metaverse, live virtual try-ons and successful experiential and food licensing strategies.
A session titled “Influencers as the New Advertisers” will inform attendees about how powerful Influencers have become in driving product sales.
The conference will conclude with an on-site cocktail reception, which will allow attendees and presenters to network and share ideas. Networking opportunities will be available throughout the day, including morning and afternoon breaks, lunch and the cocktail reception.
