Nelvana has partnered with Discovery Kids to launch the animated series “The ZhuZhus” in Latin America and the Caribbean, beginning this May.

Under the new agreement, the animated series will begin airing in Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Falkland Islands, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Urugay and Venezuela.

It will also begin airing on the following Caribbean islands: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Netherland Antilles, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Additionally, Nelvana has also renewed its agreement with Discovery Kits to continue airing “Backyardigans” in the regions.
