4K Media, a subsidiary of Konami Digital Entertainment, has broadened its current deal with SIC-K in Portugal to enhance programming for the “Yu-Gi-Oh!” series franchise in the country, and has tapped Canada’s Teletoon for initial broadcasting.

SIC-K has picked up seasons 2 and 3 of “Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal” and seasons 1 and 2 of “Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V;” while Teletoon will begin airing season 2 of “Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V.”

“Viewers’ response to ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ programming speaks for itself, and of course we are very happy to expand our existing programming relationships with Portugal’s SIC-K and Canada’s Teletoon. Both of these networks are proof of ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’s’ appeal around the globe,” says Kristen Gray, senior vice president, operations and legal affairs, 4K Media.
