Animation company will to expand its consumer products programs with new division.

Paris-based entertainment company Xilam has created a new licensing division to build a consumer products program for its animated series “Oggy & the Cockroaches” and “Paprika.”

The newly established division will be led by Marie-Laure Marchand,

formerly of Studio 100 and Nelvana

.

Xilam will be exhibiting at Brand Licensing Europe, Oct. 11-13, at stand #E105 to help secure international partners for its brands.

The company’s flagship property “Oggy & the Cockroaches” is currently distributed in more than 160 countries and follows Oggy as he relentlessly battles three mischievous cockroaches. The series is currently available for licensing across all key categories. Xilam recently appointed

Dream Theatre to represent the series for licensing in India.

Meanwhile, the company’s first preschool series, “Paprika,” will follow the lives of twins Olivia and Stan. The series, commissioned by France Télévisions and Disney Junior EMEA is currently in production and will be available for licensing across

both boys' and girls’ key categories.
