Wonkybot Studios has partnered with John Rogers and Jenn Court of Kung Fu Monkey Productions to develop its podcast “The Secret Diaries of Tara Tremendous” into an animated series.

The new series will tell the story of Tara Callahan, a bubbly, brave and headstrong 8-year-old girl who goes from ordinary to extraordinary overnight when she’s accidentally infused with the powers of every superhero in the world. Now, the spunky, adventurous girl can summon any power she wants, but first she’ll have to learn to use them at the secret Power University.

In addition to the new series, WonkyBot will release a musical album of songs from the podcast’s first season in August, as well as a middle grade book franchise in September.

The series is currently in development and expected to be complete by mid-2017.
