Home Plate Entertainment’s animated series “Rob Dyrdek’s Wild Grinders” has been greenlit for a second season by Nicktoons and been sold to various networks in Europe and Latin America.

Launched on Nicktoons in the U.S. last year, the series has now been picked up by Panda Biggs in Portugal and Gloob in Brazil. As the brand continues to grow, HPE has appointed Elastic Rights and Mondo TV to handle the property in southern Europe and the Middle East respectively.

In addition to the growing list of broadcast partners, DC Shoes just released a new line of Wild Grinders-branded kids’ shoes earlier this month. Additional brand extensions in party goods, toys and gaming are all in the pipeline.

Created by professional skateboarder and reality star Rob Dyrdek, the kids’ series follows the hijinks of a skateboarding pre-teen loosely based on Dyrdek himself.
