WBCP Reveals Fantastic Beasts Lineup

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has tapped a slate of global licensees to support its upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, in theaters Nov. 18.

WBCP Reveals Fantastic Beasts Lineup

Scholastic, Funko, Bioworld and many others on board to support the Wizarding World-based film.


Anchoring the global collection are publishing houses Scholastic, HarperCollins and Insight Editions. The publishing program will include handbooks, guidebooks, poster books, deluxe novelty books, paper-engineered books and interactive formats such as coloring and creativity books.

Also supporting the film is Noble Collection with character wands, plush and other film replicas; Funko with a range of vinyl figures; Bioworld with apparel and accessories; Elope with fashion accessories and costumes; Jacmel and The Carat Shop with jewelry; and Northwest with bedding; among many others.

Meanwhile, select licensees in the U.S. include Books-a-Million with gifts and novelties; Candlewick Press with a publishing program; Tervis, Silver Buffalo and Trends International with home décor and novelties; and Hyp Hats with accessories and gifts.

Retailer Barnes & Noble will also support the film.

In the U.K., GB Eye and Pyramid have signed on for gifting and stationery and Walker Books and Bloomsbury will release book programs. Meanwhile, retailers such as Harrods, Tesco and Sainsbury’s will also debut products.

Throughout the EMEA region, Primark will showcase branded merchandise across categories including fashion and home décor. Other EMEA licensees and retail partners include Carrefour in France, Fnac in France and Spain, Elbenwald in Germany and key book store partners in Italy, among many others.

Brazil will also see merchandise programs, ranging from apparel to stationery, roll out at retail partners including Riachuelo, Renner, C&A, Marisa, Jandaia and Luxel, among others.

Finally, in Asia-Pacific select licensees include Gakken Sta:Ful, in Rock and Shochiku for gifts, novelties and stationery items in Japan; Jay Jays for apparel in Australia and New Zealand; EB Games for apparel, home décor and stationery; and Walker Books Australia and Bloomsbury for publishing programs; among many others.
