WBCP Names Themed Entertainment Exec

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has appointed Peter van Roden to the role of senior vice president, global themed entertainment.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has appointed Peter van Roden to the role of senior vice president, global themed entertainment.

In his new position, van Roden will help to develop and implement global entertainment strategies that benefit brand building and revenue growths for the company’s theme parks, themed entertainment attractions, exhibits and live events across the globe.

He will report directly to Karen McTier, executive vice president, WBCP.

Prior to joining WBCP, he served as the senior vice president, global experience and events at National Geographic. He also boasts more than 20 years of experience across production, marketing and management positions, including as vice president, themed entertainment at Sesame Workshop.
