The latest expansion to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will feature the classic film’s popular characters as well as one of the park’s most popular attractions.
Toy Story
Land will invite guests to enter the backyard of Andy, the boy from the movies, and to feel as if they’ve been shrunk down to the size of the toy characters from the films.
The 11-acre area will also feature several new attractions–including Slinky Dog Dash, a new family coaster that will see riders dip, dodge and dash around turns and drops that Andy has created to stretch Slinky and his coils to the max. Meanwhile, the upcoming attraction Alien Swirling Saucers will see the film’s Alien characters circling about in their flying saucers, pulling long rocket ships full of guests.
The new land will also include one of Walt Disney World’s most popular attractions,
Toy Story
Mania.

Land is slated to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios next summer. In 2019, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also scheduled
Star Wars
: Galaxy Edge, which will give fans the opportunity to live their own
Star Wars
stories.
