Shoppers can use the "Blippar" app to scan key SpongeBob products and in-store signs to unlock an exclusive SpongeBob fan experience at Walmart stores. By filling their screens with images of SpongeBob movie products, fans can then access exclusive content and offers such as the movie trailer, pre-order the DVD set to get a free SpongeBob movie ticket and play SpongeBob-themed games.
As part of the mobile activation, shoppers can also scan products to generate special SpongeBob e-cards and to access a video game trailer and SpongeBob selfie photo booth app.
