Walker Books’ Tilly and Friends property is gaining global traction, following its television debut on CBeebies last September.

The series from Walker Productions, JAM Media and Aardman Rights has now been sold into 16 additional territories and boasts a burgeoning product program that already reaches into publishing, mobile gaming and apparel.

Walker Books is now planning to begin a book series that will tie in with the TV show, set to launch this fall with storybooks and activity books, followed by additional titles through 2015.

Walker Licensing has also teamed up with Daredevil Development to create an app for the brand, planned for early this year.

Partners already on board in the U.K. include Aykroyds TPD for nightwear and apparel essentials, Blues Clothing for leisurewear, Woodmanstern for greeting cards and Immediate Media for magazines. Product will roll out throughout the year with the first apparel products arriving on shelves this summer.

New international broadcast partners for “Tilly and Friends” include ABC in Australia, WDR Media Group in Germany, TV Ontario in Canada, YLE in Finland, France 5, NRK in Norway, RTE in Ireland, SVT in Sweden, RAI in Italy, RSR in Switzerland, Latvian Public TV, S4C in Wales, DR in Denmark, RUV in Ireland, PBS in Thailand and Trevano in the Ukraine.
