Viz Media has acquired TV, DVD/Bluray, video-on-demand and merchandising rights to the TV series “Terraformars” for Europe.

Co produced by Japanese publisher Shueisha and Warner Entertainment Japan, “Terraformars” is a new science-fiction animated TV series adapted from the Yu Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana manga that has sold more than 5 millions copies in Japan to-date.

“Terraformars” is already licensed for publishing in France, Italy, Germany, Spain and the U.K. The series premiere was broadcasted on Japanese television this month, and will be followed by a simulcast broadcast across many European countries.
