Viacom International Media Networks has appointed Ananey as its new consumer products agent in Israel.

Beginning Oct. 1, Ananey will replace current agency Yooka. The move completes the alignment of VIMN’s business to one local partner in Israel. Ananey is already the local licensing partner for VIMN-owned television channels in Israel including Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and MTV, and VIMN recently transitioned its local program sales business to Ananey for those three brands.

Ananey will focus on expanding VIMN’s existing business in the market and securing new deals with non-traditional licensees for brands that have launched in the country including SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Go Diego Go, Bubble Guppies and the MTV brand. New Nickelodeon properties to launch in 2015 include Paw Patrol and Dora and Friends.

Ananey will also represent VIMN commercial media sponsorship campaigns, giving them the ability to link consumer products, media campaigns, sponsorship, online and live events under one deal.

“VIMN is always looking for ways to strengthen its growth in key markets through investment, relationship building and innovative business models," says Bartosz Witak, vice president and general manager, VIMN Central Eastern Europe and Israel. "Ananey is a well-established media conglomerate with a history of trading with VIMN, and by consolidating our business with one strategic partner, it provides greater synergy opportunities across all lines of business in the market.”
