The acquisition of a majority stake in Fox TeleColumbia & Estudios TeleMexico will bolster ViacomCBS’ Spanish-language content production capabilities and expand ViacomCBS International Studios’ (VIS) on-demand content offerings across Paramount+ and Pluto TV as well as its linear networks worldwide. 

While exact terms of the transaction were undisclosed in the announcement, VIS has confirmed it will operate Fox TeleColombia & Estudios TeleMexico as a collaborative partnership with the founding family. Samuel Duque Duque, president, FoxTelecolombia y Estudios Teleméxico, will lead the business with Juan Acosta, president, ViacomCBS International Studios and Networks Americas, on the board.
