MGA Entertainment has signed a two-year deal with Viacom to air the first two seasons of the “Lalaloopsy” TV series, based on the doll line, internationally on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. networks.

Viacom is also planning to give Lalaloopsy Babies, a brand extension of the Lalaloopsy dolls, its own TV special. The “Lalaloopsy Babies” one-hour special will air on Nick Jr. and be available on DVD this October.

"Lalaloopsy dolls and branded entertainment content have already stitched their way into the hearts of girls across America," says Isaac Larian, chief executive officer, MGA Entertainment. "We are sure that girls across the world will also be inspired by the creativity and uniqueness of ‘Lalaloopsy,’ priming the franchise for even more rapid growth."
