The popular television host will be celebrated with a commemorative stamp.
NORTH AMERICA–The U.S. Postal Service and The Fred Rogers Company have come together to celebrate the life and contributions of Fred Rogers, the iconic host of the children's television series “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” with a new stamp.
The stamp features Mr. Rogers in his signature red sweater alongside his puppet pal King Friday XIII.
To further mark the occasion, U.S. Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan dedicated the stamp at WQED's Fred Rogers Studio in Pittsburgh, Penn., the studio where the host began his media career.
