Universal Plans Nintendo Attractions

Nintendo and Universal Parks & Resorts have joined forces to bring the gaming company’s iconic characters and games to life in a series of new theme park experiences.

Gaming-themed zones will open at Universal Studios Japan, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood in the coming years.

The Nintendo-themed areas will launch at Universal Studios Japan, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, and each interactive environment will include multiple attractions, shops and restaurants.

Additionally, each area will feature a host of gaming brands including Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong, among others. The two companies also plan to have something for everyone, regardless of their age or gaming experience level.

Planning and creative work for each area is currently underway and each park will open separately over the next several years. Furthermore, each Universal theme park will announce details of its specific Nintendo areas. The first announcement will come soon.
