Two Classic British Brands Appoint Oz Agent

AUSTRALIA–Aardman has appointed Merchantwise to represent Shaun the Sheep, among other properties, for licensing in Australia and New Zealand. Merchantwise has also been tapped to represent Hachette Children’s Group’s Enid Blyton portfolio for licensing.

The Australian licensing agency is on board to secure new retail opportunities for

Shaun the Sheep

and Enid Blyton.


For Aardman, Merchantwise will aim to maximize retail opportunities for

Shaun the Sheep

in both Australia and New Zealand, as well as partner with the company to release a series of activities, games and clips to celebrate the brand’s 10-year anniversary. ABC Commercial has also signed on to release the

10 years of Shaun

DVD next month.

As for Enid Blyton, the agency will work with Hachette to secure a variety of retail opportunities for the author’s portfolio, which consists of 800 titles translated into 40 languages.
